Slingshot Challenge

(National Geographic Partner)

encouraging youth ages 13-18 to advocate for their communities and the environment

About The Slingshot Challenge

The Slingshot Challenge is a fun challenge created by National Geographic. Youth ages 13-18 are encouraged to submit a 1-minute video discussing an environmental concern and their solution. All video and submission requirements can be found directly at nationalgeographic.org/society/projects/slingshot.

As the Lone Star Slingshot Support team, we’ve offered project support, hosted workshops that encourage students to create their videos, and created an online library of video tips designed to walk educators and students through the video creation and submission process.

Follow us on social media to see our tips for submitting your video for the Slingshot Challenge. Check out our Youtube Playlists to see all the tips!
